Dr. Scott R. Beecher
Dr. Beecher did his undergraduate studies at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) in 1999. From there he spent the next 20 plus years working in Sioux City, IA. A native of Southwest Iowa, Dr. Beecher wished to return to his small-town roots and was able to make that happen when he purchased Dr. Lantz’s practice in 2021. Dr. Beecher looks forward to serving the people of Clarinda and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Beecher has two daughters in college, one at Iowa State University and one attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He enjoys visiting with his daughters and family, reading, working outdoors, fishing, and classic cars.
The team at Beecher Eye Care strives to meet all your vision care needs. Denise and Mary Ellen manage the optical/glasses department, while Carleen takes care of specialty testing and pre-testing for exams. The three have a combined 50yrs of experience at this location. Beecher Eye Care accepts many insurances, although we recommend calling to see if we accept your insurance and if there is eligibility.
